Did you know? LightCharity estimates that the Light One project, “1,000,000+ Pieces of Clothing with Love,” will collect over 1 million items of clothing. More than 8000 people will receive 4–8 items that suit their wishes and needs. If you have not joined the program and your old clothes are still waiting in your wardrobe, take a look at them, fold them neatly, and bring them to one of 79 collection points across the city to share your love!
Through its social projects, Light One: “1,000,000+ Garments of Love” hopes to offer not only sincere sharing but also a sense of humanity in the culture of giving and receiving. So, whenever possible, please give in a thoughtful and considerate way.
As of April 3, LightCharity had received 16.478 items of clothing, and the number continues to rise by the hour and day.
The old clothes you no longer need will be passed on to to the right People in Need. They will receive items with the joy of buying rather than being given something (2.000 VND for trousers, a shirt, a jacket…), while reducing present waste and building awareness of saving in the future. This is also an annual fundraising project helping disadvantaged students continue their education.

A few tips for organizing and sorting used clothing:
- Give sincere thought to the organization you will donate to, and ask where the charity group will distribute the clothing. Are there many children there, or only adults? That way, you will have time to remove items that others do not need.
- Only donate clothes that are still in good condition—not torn, overly worn, or faded. In particular, please avoid donating overly revealing clothing, as it is not suitable for the program’s recipients.

- Take a little time to wash the clothes thoroughly. If possible, add some fragrant fabric softener; this will make the recipients very happy.
- Fold clothes neatly and sort them into men's, women's, adults', children's, winter, summer, school clothes… Place each category in separate small bags before putting them together in a box/bag.
- Finally, you can bring your used items directly to a location managed by a participating partner: Má Hải bánh mì carts, laundry outlets, and other support centers.
