Thank you to Vietnam Television for taking an interest in Light Charity and helping bring Light Charity’s projects to even more people!
Light One does more than reduce clothing waste in society, help vulnerable people buy clothes for just VND 2,000, and raise funds to support children with leukemia. It also conveys a deeply humane message: vulnerable people themselves can do charity with just VND 2,000 of their own. ![]()
“I thought I was popoor, how could I give to charity? Today I learned that anyone can do it. Who doesn't have two thousand? I'm so happy, my dears.” — an Hmong woman shared joyfully at the first Light One Central Highlands event.
“I have never been so tired from shopping for clothes. There are so many beautiful clothes for just 2 thousand that choosing is exhausting!” a woman who had just picked out some good clothes in Đắk D'rông happily shared.
Every Lighter who takes part in Light Charity's programs has personal reflections and feels Light's meaning in each action. But it was only when we watched the HTV9 news report that we truly became choked with emotion. It was deeply moving to see the work we have done over more than a year receive attention from so many reputable media outlets and reach even further. We are so grateful to everyone! ![]()
Next is the Light Two — Build Schools for Children project, with its first school in Quảng Ngãi! ![]()
