Lighter Nguyễn Thu Hà’s reflections on the second Light One Cần Thơ – Light Day 2.7.2018
The second Light One Cần Thơ event has come to an end. This time, everyone trusted me with the role of Communications Leader.
Although I still have many shortcomings, this new role challenges me further. It is another journey of Community service that I have joined, reminding me how small I am in this world and that I need to reach further, work harder, and change more.
Previously, many negative things made me sad, and I was easily upset. But now, going out into the world, encountering extremely positive things and meeting new friends and teachers, I can smile and move forward no matter what happens.
I feel that I have grown so much. If we remain afraid and stay in our comfort zone forever, we may be safe. But if you try stepping outside even once, you will find that although it may be frightening and risky, it is the very thing that helps you break through your limits and grow so much more.
Perhaps when you do not yet know what you want, you should experience more and get more involved.
