The Light Charity Torch
Light Charity was founded in 2018 by two successful young entrepreneurs, Tạ Minh Tuấn and Hồ Đức Hải. Its core members include dynamic young people, students, office workers, and successful entrepreneurs. All Light Charity members share the desire to “make Vietnam a better place to live.” Light Charity operates in accordance with CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), the responsibility of a social enterprise.
The Ligh Charity spirit: “Make Vietnam a better place to live”
Giving, receiving, and sharing love is the spirit Light Charity seeks to build and nurture. In 2018, Light Charity put that spirit into practice through LightOne’s “1,000,000+ Pieces of Clothing with Love” journey: addressing the waste of used clothing and designing a model in which students join forces to help their peers attend school. The second program, also running in 2018, digitized all charity information and built an information portal to connect donors with people needing support. Finally, through standardization and transfer, Light Charity helps establish local charity chapters to develop charitable activities in each area.
The LightOne 1.000.000+ Clothes of Love event
LightOne 1,000,000+ Items of Clothing with Love is the latest event organized by Light Charity. If you have old clothes you no longer want to wear, don't throw them away—bring them to Light Charity's donation points. If you are facing hardship, don't hesitate to come to LightOne, where you can buy, sell, and exchange all clothing items for VND 2,000 each. For generous donors and social enterprises, Light Charity and the LightOne program serve as an extended helping hand, enabling you to assist more people facing misfortune in life.
