Have you heard of Lightone’s “1,000,000+ Pieces of Clothing with Love” project? It calls on the community to donate used clothing and delivers it directly to those who need it. If you would like to become a “giver,” bring your used items to a collection location managed by a participating partner (see the list updated daily on Lightcharity’s Facebook page): https://www.facebook.com/LIGHTCHARITY.CO/posts/1078637458951392
Why not become a “giver” and accompany Lightcharity in supporting the community? You will not be able to say “no” to this meaningful activity, for the following 3 reasons.

Experience charitable work firsthand
April 1–7 is the period for receiving clothing donations from the community. After the quantities are tallied and reported, April 8 will be the Lightday clothing-sharing festival, where you can experience charitable work firsthand and distribute clothes to those who need them.
The event will be organized like a fair, selling donated clothing at a flat price. For just VND 2,000 per item, recipients can get 4–8 items of clothing that match their wishes and needs. This connects givers with receivers, offering you an opportunity to meet, talk with, and better understand the people you help.
The program has great social significance
When it comes to charity, the reality is that there are so many people suffering from poverty and so many people who want to share. Yet the channels connecting them are inadequate, or are heavily focused on promoting an individual's or organization's image and serving personal interests, stripping charitable activities of their meaning.

The Lightone program therefore connects “givers” and “recipients” — people who truly need intact, wearable clothing. This project will digitize all charitable information from donors and recipients on its charitable information network and website. Clear, transparent information helps you know that your clothes have reached the right people.
In addition, proceeds from the Lightday clothing-sharing festival will be used to establish a scholarship fund and support people with disabilities in care homes and shelters, as well as students who excel despite difficult circumstances…
Not only that, the used clothes you donate are also “transformed” into medical support for children with leukemia (monthly blood transfusion costs are VND 1–5 million per child). This offers tremendous support for their families and gives the children motivation to continue fighting this devastating disease.
Giving is also receiving
“Joy doubles and sorrow is halved when you know how to share.” Indeed, happiness and inner peace come only when you truly open your heart with love and want to share in the hardships of others.

Donating clothes we no longer use brings not only peace of mind but also helps reduce waste today and encourages greater awareness of thrift for the future. With so much value gained from giving away a few clothes, what are you waiting for?
Lightcharity's vision is to “make Vietnam a better place to live,” and we firmly believe this will become reality in the not-too-distant future. But the important question is: are you ready to help?
