THE FIFTH SCHOOL: DẰN B PRESCHOOL SITE (SƠN LA)
Light Charity is delighted to announce its official sponsorship of the 5th school site in the Building Schools for Children journey.
This school site is Dằn B Kindergarten in Kim Bon Commune, Phù Yên District, Sơn La Province, with a total budget of 190 million to build 01 classroom of around 42m2 and 01 large toilet room.
This is another project on which Light is honored to collaborate with SAO BIEN – Room for Education

As of January 22, 2022, construction at the school site was approximately 65% complete, with all walls built and classroom and toilet walls plastered.

THE FOURTH SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN IN THE HIGHLANDS COMPLETED IN TIME FOR THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR
Light Charity is delighted to announce that the school site in Bản Nghè Hamlet, Yên Cường Commune, Bắc Mê District, Hà Giang Province—the 4th school for children in the highlands that Light Charity has had the honor of helping fund—was completed before the start of the new school year. To replace severely deteriorated wooden classrooms and provide a safer teaching and learning environment for 27 students and their teachers, funding was provided to build 2 permanent classrooms of 24m2 each and 1 restroom.
The entire construction project was inspected and accepted by representatives of the school management and local authorities on August 19, 2021.
Light Charity's partner for Build Schools for Children this time is once again SAO BIEN – Room for Education– a nongovernmental organization from Austria that operates transparently and effectively. The total school-building cost is 290 million, of which Light Charity and SAO BIEN – Room for Education each side contributes 50% of the budget, or 145 million.
Recently, on 06/09/2021, the school held its opening ceremony for the new school year, with students delighted by their new classroom!
Light Charity would like to express its sincere gratitude to the School Building Ambassadors who joined forces to complete this 4th school site in August 2021, in time to welcome students for the new school year.
