Lighty Charity collects secondhand clothes, sells them to people in need for 2.000 VND, and raises funds to support children with leukemia. “Could you please help me share information about the project so more people can learn about it? Thank you so much.” This was MC Liêu Hà Trinh’s heartfelt appeal on her personal Facebook page. The young, talented, and beautiful host’s post quickly attracted 1,600 likes and many sympathetic comments and shares. Beyond offering verbal support, Hà Trinh also personally donated her used clothing to Light Charity’s organizing committee.

Trần Trinh Tường, founder of Simple English and a familiar figure to many university students, also shared an emotional Facebook post: “I have a friend who used to be my colleague and is now working with the organization. If you have old clothes at home, you can donate them; this program has a really great idea. There are now more than 70 donation points—a fairly large scale.”

– Help deliver donors' clothes to the right recipients who need them.
– Help people in need receive items with the joy of purchasing them rather than being given handouts. All donated items are exchanged at 2.000 VND/1 item (shirts, trousers, jackets…)
– Raise funds to help children with leukemia.
Lightone: 1,000,000+ ITEMS OF CLOTHING WITH LOVE runs for 21 days with these main activities:
- Campaigning for and collecting clothing
- Organize LightDay — a Clothing Sharing Festival with 50 stalls and thousands of people taking part in giving and receiving
- Help address clothing waste in society
- Design a model in which students join hands to help peers attend school
- Create opportunities for people to grow closer and for more activities that strengthen community bonds.
