VOVGT \u2014 On 25\/1, Light Charity held a secondhand clothing sale for low-income workers at a flat price of 2 thousand VND\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

On January 25, Light Charity held a sale of used clothing for workers at a flat price of VND 2,000 at the rear entrance of Linh Trung Export Processing Zone (Linh Trung Ward, Th\u1ee7 \u0110\u1ee9c District, Ho Chi Minh City), to raise funds for leukemia treatment for children.<\/p>\n

Accordingly, the event runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., marking its 4th edition in Ho Chi Minh City. Previously, it was held in various provinces and cities from north to south.<\/p>\n

This program was created to address clothing waste in society, design a model in which students join forces to help their peers attend school, give people opportunities to grow closer, and create more activities that strengthen community bonds.<\/p>\n

In addition, with all items\u2014including clothing, footwear, and bags\u2014priced at VND 2,000, this is a good shopping opportunity for workers facing hardship.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the program, Tr\u1ea7n Tu\u1ea5n Anh, leader of the Light Charity team in Ho Chi Minh City, said: \u201cWe work with the desire to share clothing with as many disadvantaged people as possible. Our aim is to bring one million pieces of clothing with love to disadvantaged people. All the clothing lovingly donated by generous supporters is sold to workers in poverty at a flat price of VND 2,000 per item. We put the proceeds into a fund called \u2018Angel\u2019s Dream\u2019 to support blood replacement treatment for children with blood cancer, with leukemia.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sharing his thoughts on taking part, H\u1ed3 \u0110\u1ee9c D\u0169ng, a student living in District 7, said: \u201cI find this a very meaningful program. It helps both children with leukemia and people in difficult circumstances who need warm clothes for Lunar New Year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Light Charity is an organization of energetic young people, young entrepreneurs, office workers, and students eager to \u201cmake Vietnam a better place to live.\u201d It was established in 2018.<\/p>\n
