WHAT LIGHT DAY 3 MEANS TO ME\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The title sounds a little sentimental\u2014and it really is \ud83d\ude03<\/p>\n

To write my reflections on LIGHT DAY 3, held more than 3 weeks ago, I had to look back through photographer Tu\u1ea5n L\u00ea's images to \u201cinvite\u201d the emotions to return. That also allowed me to \u201crelive\u201d those lively, joyful, meaningful moments.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

You could say this LIGHT event had the most systematic and thorough advance preparation we have ever had\u2014from clothing and coordination with local authorities at sales locations to staffing. Although there were a few small hiccups during the program, they were nothing compared with the LIGHTERs\u2019 all-out fighting spirit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The 2 days of LIGHTDAY brought me many emotions: anxiety when the sales location was unfavorable, then joy when we found a solution to the location problem.\u00a0<\/span>and the happiness of seeing children aged 8\u201310 smiling after choosing clothes that fit them with their savings. At that moment, all I could do was stand and smile with happiness.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

In truth, I feel I receive more than I give by participating in LIGHT ONE. I have the OPPORTUNITY\u00a0 <\/span>to have the chance to give, I could smile more, my heart was moved more often by loving moments, and I learned more lessons about teamwork\u2026 and so much more.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thank you to Mama L\u00ea Th\u1ecb Mai Chi, leader Tr\u1ea7n V\u0103n T\u01b0\u1edfng, Ms. Hang Huynh, Ms. Ch\u00e2u Th\u1ecb H\u00f2a M\u1ef9, and all the LIGHTERs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
