Perhaps that is why this trip to Tr\u00e0 Vinh will stay with us, the members of the Gi\u1ea5c M\u01a1 \u0110\u00f4i Ch\u00e2n Thi\u00ean Th\u1ea7n Fund, forever and ever!<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-146 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/1.png\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/1.png 960w, http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/1-300x200.png 300w, http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/1-768x512.png 768w\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"640\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As this journey of love comes to a close, it is time to tell one another about the wonderful things we shared with each other and with local people that day!<\/p>\n<p>This charitable program was organized by the \u0110\u1ed3ng ng\u00f4n MT Community, whose members were extraordinarily energetic and active throughout the trip and are affectionately known as the \u201cAngels in Red Shirts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-157 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/2.jpg\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/2.jpg 960w, http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/2-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/2-768x576.jpg 768w, http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/2-510x382.jpg 510w\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Gi\u1ea5c M\u01a1 \u0110\u00f4i Ch\u00e2n Thi\u00ean Th\u1ea7n Fund supported the program with 30.000.000 VND \u2014 equivalent to 600 medicine packages for local people \u2014 along with enthusiastic volunteers who joined the group. Other sponsors also supported the program, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>FIT Group Company (FIT consumer, FIT cosmetics, FIT beverage)<\/li>\n<li>D\u01b0\u1ee3c C\u1eedu Long<\/li>\n<li>Euvipharm<\/li>\n<li>Benovas<\/li>\n<li>Vikoda<\/li>\n<li>The sponsors, benefactors, and especially the Zumba Fitness Thanh Truong community contributed to support the program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><b>Oh, Tr\u00e0 Vinh\u2026<\/b><\/strong><strong><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/strong><strong><b>let's set off!<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the afternoon of 04\/05, we arrived at the meeting point on L\u00ea H\u1ed3ng Phong, ready to set off together. Tr\u00e0 Vinh is a coastal province in the Mekong Delta, 120 km south of Saigon. It had been a long time since we had visited the delta, and this trip to Tr\u00e0 Vinh brought a very different feeling.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle rolled along smoothly. Throughout the journey, everyone was radiant and excited despite having spent a long day at work and dealing with life's demands. After more than 4 hours, we arrived.<\/p>\n<p>The bus arrived in Tr\u00e0 Vinh at almost midnight. After a meeting to assign tasks and transport gifts, we finally rested together at 1:30 a.m.<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>Good things officially begin!<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The next morning, at 5:30 a.m., more than 100 volunteers woke up and finished preparations in their respective areas to officially welcome local residents at 7 a.m. Their faces were radiant and fresh, loving smiles on their lips, as we told one another: \u201cLet's spread love to the people together!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-147 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/3.png\" sizes=\"(max-width: 697px) 100vw, 697px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/3.png 697w, http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/3-300x224.png 300w, http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/3-510x382.png 510w\" alt=\"\" width=\"697\" height=\"521\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Just as the program began, it started raining quite heavily, and everyone in our group worried about the residents coming for medical examinations. Contrary to our concerns, so many people came that there were barely any seats left. In that moment, our hearts ached! My fellow members of the Gi\u1ea5c M\u01a1 \u0110\u00f4i Ch\u00e2n Thi\u00ean Th\u1ea7n Fund and I suddenly realized that we needed to organize many more programs like this and bring many more blessings to people in this remote place\u2014people who truly need help!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-158 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/4.jpg\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/4.jpg 960w, http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/4-300x169.jpg 300w, http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/4-768x432.jpg 768w\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><i>Volunteers help elderly residents to the examination area<\/i><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Children, young people, adults, and the elderly all came in large numbers. Seeing elderly people brave the rain from far away was deeply moving. Some could barely walk; lifting their feet and bending down or standing up was so difficult that volunteers had to help. The children arriving for examinations looked so innocent and lovely. Through conversation, I learned that women there had cycled long distances to be examined. By noon, 800 people had come for examinations and treatment. We were delighted that they had come and that the rain had stopped.<\/p>\n<p><em><i><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-160 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/7.jpg\" sizes=\"(max-width: 658px) 100vw, 658px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/7.jpg 658w, http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/7-206x300.jpg 206w\" alt=\"\" width=\"658\" height=\"960\" \/><\/i><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><i>The smile the volunteer team voted the most beautiful of the day!<\/i><\/em><\/p>\n<p>What beautiful scenes of the volunteer team we encountered! Letting others eat lunch first, gently supporting residents by hand and arm, speaking softly, placing each pair of sandals in a bag, helping people through the rain, carrying gifts all the way to their homes, giving them sips of water, finding chairs, fanning them while they waited for examinations; some doctors even stood to measure blood pressure so residents could have their chairs\u2026 and countless other wonderful acts. We are deeply grateful and proud to have such wonderful angels in our community!<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>Medical Examinations, Treatment, and Medicine Distribution<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During this medical outreach, doctors discovered that many residents had chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and eye disorders, but were unaware of them and had not received adequate treatment because of financial hardship.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-150 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/8.png\" sizes=\"(max-width: 502px) 100vw, 502px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/8.png 502w, http:\/\/giacmodoichanthienthan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/8-254x300.png 254w\" alt=\"\" width=\"502\" height=\"593\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For mild cases, doctors dispensed medicine; for serious cases, they advised and guided patients to higher-level hospitals for treatment.<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>Distributing gifts to local residents <\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Though modest, the gifts were given in the hope of easing some of the hardships faced by local residents.<\/p>\n<p>In the Mekong Delta, we felt the people's deep humanity, sincerity, enthusiasm, and simplicity. Their warmth was evident in the generous welcome at every meal. They may not be materially wealthy, but their emotional generosity is immense. It will perhaps remain a memory etched in everyone\u2019s hearts. This time was no different: we felt very happy and sincerely thank the charitable organizations and members of \u0110\u1ed3ng ng\u00f4n MT for giving us the chance to join this meaningful two-day volunteer journey.
