Donated clothing is used at the \u201cClothing Sharing Festival\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n The festival brings together around 50 stalls (estimated at 20.000 items per stall), with 3.000 attendees (including donors and recipients), 500 volunteers, 60 organizing committee members, and 40 guests (government representatives, media, partners, and inspiring KOLs). Here, people in need can receive secondhand clothing with the joy of buying rather than being given something, at 2.000 VND per item.<\/span> It is estimated that more than 8000 people will each receive 4\u20138 suitable clothing items<\/span> with wishes and needs. <\/span><\/p>\n Raise funds to help children with leukemia<\/b><\/p>\n Using proceeds from the Clothing Sharing Festival, Light Charity will raise funds to help children with leukemia through the recipient organization, the \u201cGi\u1ea5c m\u01a1 \u0111\u00f4i ch\u00e2n thi\u00ean th\u1ea7n Fund.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Proceeds from the \u201cClothing Sharing Festival\u201d will raise funds to help children with leukemia<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n Leukemia, also known here as acute leukemia, is a condition in which immature white blood cells originating in the bone marrow multiply malignantly, crowding out normal blood-cell production and infiltrating many parts of the body. It is one of the most common forms of cancer in children.<\/span><\/p>\n Treating acute leukemia is complex and difficult because it requires many drugs, all of which can be highly toxic and cause numerous side effects. Treatment lasts 2\u20133 years. These children, under 10 years old, usually need monthly blood transfusions costing 1\u20135 million per child per month. Timely support from us can greatly help their parents gain time to prepare their finances more proactively for the following year.<\/span><\/p>\n Do you see? Your old clothes can help so many people.
